(4 km from Pathanamthitta Town) Vazhamuttom is equally famous with Kadammanitta for the "Padayani" performances held at the Thazhoor Bhagavati Temple. The Temple is located on the banks of River Achankovil, with doors opening to the river. The Temple is also famous for the folk arts and the "Kettukaazhcha" procession with Kaala (bull motif) and Kuthira vela (horse motif).
