Mahadeva Temple at Itagi in the Koppal district. This Temple built in 1112. The temple is dedicated to Hindu God Shiva. The well executed sculptures, finely crafted carvings on walls in temple, pillars and the tower make it a good example of complete Western Chalukyan art. This Temple is one of the main old temple, with the great art on carving.

This is the only temple have historical background in koppal.
