Rajiv Gandhi Park is located near the new Vijayawada bus stand in Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh. It was built by the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation. A mini zoo, a musical fountain, built-up structures of dinosaurs and pre-historic animals are the main attractions.
Recently built by the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation, the Rajiv Gandhi Park is presently the gateway to the city. The park is named after Late Shri Rajiv Gandhi, the former Prime Minister of India, to commemorate his contributions to the development of the country.
This park is maintained with great care, and receives the visitors with grant welcome with its inspiring horticultural network. Added to this a musical fountain and a mini zoo makes merry for the tourists. This is a special attraction to the citizens during the summer period to spend their hot summer evenings in the outdoor.
