Kemmangundi is a hill station in Tarikere taluk of Chikkamagaluru district of Karnataka District in India. It is located at a height of 1434m above sea level. Kemmangundi includes many peaks to scale and intricate jungle paths to explore. Climbing also very populous thing in Kemmanagundi.
Kemmangundi hill station has spectacular waterfalls cascading along its slopes, excellent animal life and rare species of plants. With base in Tarikere which is 35 kms from Kemmangundi, trekkers climb the hill slopes to enjoy the panoramic view of the verdant valleys below. Just about 8 kms from Kemmangundi hill station is Hebbe Falls which is surrounded with dense forests and coffee plantations and cascade down from 250 feet to Dodda Hebbe and Chikka Hebbe, two stages.
